ALVA, Okla. — Shocking video shows a disgruntled customer allegedly driving his car through the lobby of a hotel, narrowly missing two employees.

According to local police, John Parsley, 62, allegedly became upset when the Alva Comfort Inn and Suites charged his credit card last Thursday.

KFOR reports that hotel staff thought Parsley was bluffing when he claimed he was going to run them over with his truck.

A police officer tried to calm Parsley down but instead he threw truck into drive, sped through the hotel entrance and into the lobby, according KFOR.

Two workers in the lobby were seen in the video jumping out of the truck’s way just in time.

The truck appears to have ripped a large hole in the wall as well as destroying almost half of the concierge table.

According to NBC, Parsley was arrested and charged with assault, battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious injury to property. He was held on $1 million bond Monday at Woods County Jail.
