CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn – Police have identified 31-year-old Raji Wilson as the suspect who robbed two women and raped one of them at gunpoint, all within an hour in Brooklyn on Sunday.

Around 9 p.m., Wilson followed a 20-year-old woman into an elevator inside a Coney Island apartment and when she exited on her floor, he grabbed her from behind and displayed a firearm, according to cops. Authorities said Wilson then dragged her into a stairwell where he raped her and removed her cash and keys before fleeing downstairs. The victim was removed to Coney Island Hospital for evaluation.

Nearly an hour later, Wilson and a 46-year-old victim exited an elevator on the 16th floor of a residential building located at 2885 W 12th St. He followed the victim out of the elevator, displayed a firearm and removed $30 from her pocket-book, police said. He then fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Wilson was previously arrested in 2002 for a robbery charge, police said. Surveillance video and picture of Wilson were released.
