California high school evacuated after bomb threat

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — A California high school was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat Monday morning.

Officials at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach said the threat came in around 8 a.m.

The school was evacuated and classes canceled for the day.

Police are conducting a room-by-room sweep of the school. The process is expected to take several hours.
