Police believe 19-year-old Dylan Lentini went to the home on 68 Demarest Ave. after responding to a post by Michael Wimbert, 66, seeking a roommate.  The two had never spoken before, according to police.

On Friday, November 27, Wimbert arranged to pick Lentini up from the train station in White Plains.  Around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, neighbors heard a man screaming for someone to call 911, and told police they saw a young man run out of 68 Demarest Ave.  Detectives found Wimbert in an upstairs room, stabbed to death.

They arrested Lentini after questioning him; he now faces a charge of second-degree murder.
