Man chokes teenage girl, bites her in pelvic area on Bronx sidewalk: NYPD

FORDHAM HEIGHTS, Bronx – Police are looking for a man who allegedly choked and bit a teenage girl before fleeing nearly three months ago.

During the early morning of September 4, cops say the pervert followed the 17-year-old victim along the street after waiting for her to come out of a bar.

Then the culprit, described as a light-skinned man in his mid-twenties, grabbed his victim while in the vicinity of Jerome Avenue and East 183rd Street, took her into a dark area of the sidewalk where he choked her and bit her in the pelvic area, according to police. After his attack, he fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and released.

The New York Police Department released surveillance video of the incident.
