Suspect wanted for robbery in Flatiron District taken into custody

FLATIRON, Manhattan -- A suspect wanted for a robbery in the Flatiron District has been caught after an hours-long manhunt.

It all began Thursday morning with a report of a burglary at a home on East 28th Street.

Hours later, there were reports of a suspect sighting at 29th Street and Fifth Avenue.

Authorities conducted an extensive search of the building and the suspect was taken into custody Wednesday evening.
