Crash closes all inbound upper-level lanes of George Washington Bridge

NEW YORK – All inbound upper-level lanes of the George Washington Bridge are closed Tuesday morning due to a crash, officials said.

Details about the collision were not immediately known.

Delays on the lower level of the span are close to an hour long, as of 6:45 a.m.

Drivers are urged to take the lower level of the GWB, the Lincoln Tunnel or the Tappan Zee Bridge to get around the closure.
