HOUSTON — A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another man to death — all because he took the last piece of chicken at dinner.

KHOU reported that Reinaldo Cardoso Rivera, 38, has been charged with the murder of Darwin Perez Gonzalez, 34 on October 30.

Police say the incident happened when five men were having dinner and drinking at an apartment at Lakeside Estates. When Gonzalez reportedly took the last piece of chicken, police say Rivera became angry and the two got into an argument.

The argument escalated to a fist fight outside and Rivera allegedly stabbed Gonzalez to death.

Rivera was taken into custody and charged.
