The story of the 33 Chilean miners trapped 2,300 feet underground in a mine for two months made international news five years ago. People around the world watched the story unfold on TV, and now it is being retold on the big screen.

Lou Diamond Phillips, who plays Don Lucho in the movie, "The 33," stopped by the studio to talk about how he prepared for the movie and the affect it had.

"The 33" opens in theaters on Friday.
