NEW YORK – A Times Square street performer went from statue to Chuck Norris in a second when a passerby dipped into his tip box.

Instagram video shows a man sporting Air Jordan sneakers and sunglasses walk up to the performer in front of the McDonald’s on 42nd Street, bend over and come up with a fist full of bills.

The motionless performer suddenly delivers a kick, slamming his gold-painted shoe into the alleged thief’s face and sending him sprawling to the sidewalk.  Apparently some have to learn the hard way that New York City street performers are not to be messed with.
