The Mets started off strong in Game 5 Sunday night at Citi Field. They had the lead until the ninth inning, but the Royals tied the game and the Mets struggled to regain momentum. The team finally fell to Kansas City 7-2 in the 12th inning, losing the World Series 4 games to 1.

Mets fans are now asking what went wrong at the end and what does the future hold for the team.

Mike Bako, sports editor for the Daily National, spoke with PIX11 News Monday about the mistakes the Mets made and how the team will continue its Amazin' Run -- next season.
