STATEN ISLAND – Holly Jones left candy outside her home Halloween evening for children in her neighborhood. When she returned home after a holiday party with her 8 year old son, Jones immediately saw, all of the candy was gone as well as the buckets they were in.

“We checked the video camera because we didn't expect the bins to be gone,” Jones told PIX 11.

Jones was astonished to see a woman and a small child stealing from her front doorstep.

“You see the child go for the non food items and you see the woman take the two bins of candy and chips and other things that were in there.”

A neighbor’s surveillance camera showed there was a getaway car waiting for the pair.

Jones says she filed a police report and forwarded her surveillance footage to detectives in hopes they find the thieves.
