Fire tears through floor of Park Slope high-rise building

PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn – Fire burst from the windows of a Park Slope high-rise building Monday, sending black smoke into the air as residents gathered on the sidewalk to watch.

The fire broke out just before 4 p.m. in the top floor of an 18-story apartment building at 341 10th Street.

One person suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY.

It’s not clear how the fire started.
