Man arrested for stabbing mother’s boyfriend to death on Long Island

HOLBROOK, Long Island— Police arrested a man for stabbing and killing his mother’s boyfriend on Long Island.

On October 31 around 6 p.m. Rakien Hall stabbed his mother’s live-in boyfriend Oscar Green in the neck, according to police.

Green, 47 was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Hall fled the apartment on foot and police found him on Sunday around 8:50 a.m. and arrested him.

Hall has been charged with first degree manslaughter and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
