Graffiti artist fatally shot in Bedford-Stuyvesant

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn — Police are searching for the gunman who fatally shot a graffiti artist in Brooklyn early Sunday morning.

Police responded to a call of a male shot in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Albany Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the victim, a 46-year-old man, with gunshot wounds to his arm and torso.

He was rushed to Interfaith Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was later identified as Fitzgerald McBride, a known DJ and graffiti artist.

Police say McBride had been charged 68 times for tagging in Brooklyn.

Police are still looking for his killer.
