How to make ‘shocktails’ for your Halloween party

We’re truly getting into the spirit of Halloween. Nicole Young from is mixing up some conconctions for grown-up trick-or-treaters.

Burial Brownie dip
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsps maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsps all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
Chocolate chips or chopped nuts optional
Whisk the wet ingredients in a small bowl then fold in dry ingredients until well blended and the mixture thickens slightly.

Grape fear
Apothic Dark red wine
Fresh blackberries
Seedless red or concocord ‎grape
Dry cola

Muddle a handful of blackberries and grapes in a glass then add 2 parts red wine and 1 part dry cola.

The red devil
1 1/2 oz Pasion Tequila
2 oz pomegranate juice
2 oz fresh watermelon juice
1/2 oz lime juice
Club soda
Cayenne pepper
Serrano peppers for garnish

Add tequila and juices to a shaker with ice‎ and shake well. Pour mixture into a garnished glass, add a pinch of cayenne and top with club soda.

Horn garnished glasses
Remove stem  from 2 serrano peppers, cut a ‎thin slit into the bottom and position them parallel from each other (creating ‘horns’) on a short glass and set aside.

White ghost milk shakes
6 oz TruMoo Orange Scream milk
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Ice (optional)
Whipped cream
Mini and regular chocolate chips

Blend milk, ice cream and ice in a blender until smooth.‎ Pour mixture into a glass and top with whipped cream. Garnish with a banana ghost.

Banana ghost‎s
Peel bananas and cut into halves. Gently position 2 mini chocolate chips as eyes and one one large chip as the mouth‎ on each half.
