At least 3 injured in Indianapolis mall shooting

INDIANAPOLIS— Indianapolis police are on the scene of a shooting inside of a popular mall Wednesday evening.

FOX 59 reports that three people were injured in a shooting in the common area of Washington Square Mall around 6:30 p.m.

Jacob Laffey told WISH-TV he was inside the mall’s Target store when he heard 10 or 11 shots and saw people running.

One person was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The other two victims were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

There has been no information released about the suspect.
