Cops identify 23-year-old man killed in Harlem double shooting

HARLEM, Manhattan —One man was killed, another is in critical condition after a shooting in Harlem Wednesday night, according to police.

The shooting happened in the area at the southwest corner of Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard and West 112th Street about 8:06 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

One of the victims, 23-year-old Abdal-Aziz Muhammad, was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head and to his torso. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

The second victim, a 34-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound to his torso, NYPD said. He hailed a cab from the corner of West 113th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard to Harlem Hospital, where he is listed in stable but critical condition.

No word if police have a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
