Modell’s Sporting Goods to donate portion of women’s Mets sales to breast cancer research

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, Modell’s Sporting Goods has teamed up with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help #BeTheEnd of Breast Cancer. Announced on Tuesday Monday by Modell’s CEO, Mitchell Modell, and Myra Biblowit, President and CEO of BCRF, at the Queens Borough World Series Pep Rally, all New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, Modell’s locations will be participating in a BCRF donation program.  Beginning on Tuesday, October 27, 10% of any Women’s New York Mets merchandise sold at Modell’s and on will be donated to BCRF until Saturday, October 31.

Modell’s has been partners with Breast Cancer Research Foundation for 3 years and has raised over $350,000.  Breast Cancer Research Foundation is dedicated to advancing the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer.
