THE BRONX — An alleged gunman wanted in the slaying of a man outside a Bronx strip club has been identified and his photo released with a call from police asking for help to capture the suspected killer.
Garrett Warren is being sought in connection with the Oct. 9 death of a 46-year-old man in front of Key Club Cabaret on 4139 Boston Road, police said Monday.
Authorities said it appears the victim was a patron of the strip club and went to the parking lot to break up a fight between two groups of women when a man fired at him. The victim was struck in the head and stomach and was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.
More than two weeks later and police believe they’ve identified the culprit, though no arrests have been made. Warren is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall and about 200 pounds.
Anyone with information in the case is urged to call NYPD’s anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
