JAMAICA, Queens – Long Island Rail Road trains are running again through Monday morning after a suspension sparked by fire department activity in Jamaica, the transit agency said.

Service had been suspended in both directions between Jamaica and Penn Station, and between Jamaica and Atlantic Terminal, according to LIRR. The Port Washington Branch is not affected.

Limited service has been restored but delays up to 45 minutes are expected, LIRR said.

NYC Transit is cross-honoring LIRR fares.
