The Mets take the field tomorrow for Game 1 of the World Series.

Now fans are giving the home team a rockstar send off, something they haven't had in a while.

"I love the Mets," a 2-year-old Mets fan told PIX11 cameras.

Mets fans come in all sizes, and they all showed up on the steps of Queens Borough Hall.

"I would give up my crown for them to win," said a joking Miss New York, who showed up to root on the Amazins.

The fan send-off rally saw several hundred fans come together on a day that felt more like party -- beverages included.  "This is a great day for the borough and a great day for New York," said a Mets fan.

Fan energy was so strong, for some it was like being at a game.  It was also a rally for many fans who are thrilled after years of waiting.

"This rally is the best rally since 1986," said one Mets fan.

Fans that dedicated their lives to the orange and blue.  "I just feel like I died and went to heaven," said a senior Mets supporter.

Now fans are counting down the days to the huge victory parade next week after the Mets take the series.
