1 dead, 3 hospitalized after fire rips through Brooklyn home

BROOKLYN – One person is dead and three others were hospitalized after a fire tore through a Brooklyn home Tuesday night, authorities said.

Police responded to a 911 call of a fire at 103 Hancock St. about 9:43 p.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, FDNY were in the process of extinguishing the fire, according to the NYPD.

Tyrone Corely, 56, was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A 47-year-old man and two unidentified women were taken to local hospitals for smoke inhalation, cops said, but are in stable condition.
