Police release photo of suspect wanted in deadly shooting of Bronx man

THE BRONX — Police are looking for a 22-year-old man accused of fatally shooting another man in September in the Bronx.

Kadeem Carty is wanted for shooting 24-year-old David Hooks who was found on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive at East 194th Street and Briggs Avenue around 2 p.m., on Sept. 20, according to the NYPD.

Hooks was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he later died.

Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
