Man in critical condition after stabbing on Staten Island bus

STATEN ISLAND – A man is fighting for his life after a knife-wielding passenger stabbed him at least five times aboard an MTA bus in Staten Island.

He was seriously wounded in the attack, according to EMS officials, which happened around 1:30 p.m. near Canal and Water Streets.

The victim, who is in his 20s, but has not been identified, was rushed to Richmond University Hospital. The driver was not injured.

No arrests have been made.
