Man dies after falling in between buildings in midtown

MIDTOWN, Manhattan — Police are investigating what caused a man to fall to his death in between two buildings in midtown.

EMTs found the man around 3 p.m. in the back of 10 E. 34th St.

Sources tell PIX11 the man worked on the fourth floor of the building.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unknown at this time how long the man was there.

Police say there is no criminality and think the man either fell or jumped. His body was found near the fire escape.

The investigation is active.
