Suspect steals clothing, coffee maker from Harlem Driving School: police

MORRISANIA, The Bronx -- Police are searching for a suspect who broke into the Harlem Driving School in the Bronx on August 22.

The suspect broke through the glass door of the driving school at 499 E 168th St. in Morrisania around 3:30 a.m., police said. Once inside, he took a bag of clothing and a coffee maker and fled the location.

He is described as a 45 to 55-year-old man, about 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 inches tall. He is seen on surveillance wearing a striped long-sleeve shirt.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 then enter TIP577.
