INWOOD, Manhattan – A 96-year-old woman has died from her injuries after a man pushed her to the ground inside her building, police said Thursday.

Flomena Vargas was in the lobby of her 131 Nagle Ave. building when 24-year-old Hansel Ramirez shoved her, despite her complaining of the pain to the hip, on the afternoon of September 28, NYPD said.

She was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday, cops said. The Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide as a result of the attack.

According to police, Ramirez was charged with assault.
