LIRR: Expect delays on Port Jefferson branch

COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. — Morning Long Island Rail Road commuters can expect some delays on the Port Jefferson branch due to a broken rail east of Cold Spring Harbor.

Railroad officials say crews were working to repair the broken rail near the Oakwood Road crossing on Monday morning.

The 7:12 a.m. from Huntington due in Penn Station at 8:10 a.m. has been canceled.
