Police: Woman found dead inside Lake Grove home

LAKE GROVE, N.Y. –A woman was killed at a home in Lake Grove Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Suffolk County police were called to a home on Win Place and discovered the body of the woman about 1:50 p.m. Thursday.

Neighbors identified Tricia Odierna as the victim to Newsday. According to authorities, she was a mother of five children. Her LinkedIn profile indicates she was also a lawyer based in Lake Grove.

Cops said there were no signs of forced entry into the house and are looking to speak with her husband Paul Leitgeb. He is listed as a former employee of the NYPD, Newsday reports.

The cause of the death is under investigation, but it is considered to be criminal, according to police.

One of Odierna's stepchildren, Danielle Camille Leitgeb, listed as an after school teacher at Kidtastic Kids Daycare and Preschool on Facebook, grieved the loss in a heartfelt post.
