This is the Mets' sixth NL East title. A late three-run homer from captain David Wright gave Mets the winning score 10-2.

PIX11 Sports Desk Scott Stanford was in Cincinnati to watch the Mets clinch the long-waited title.

He met up with the team during in the locker room where each player was doused in a champagne shower. Stanford got some bubbly on himself, but he sure didn't mind.

Stanford was also able to catch up with a few players during the celebration.

The Mets are the first National League team to clinch a division title. They will likely play the Dodgers next in October.
