Video shows brawl near Barclays Center that left one teen stabbed, three arrested

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN -- A 16-year-old was stabbed in the stomach, another beaten with a cane and an NYPD officer was maced in the face during a massive brawl on Monday in Downtown Brooklyn near Barclays Center.

It all started around 3:30 p.m. as dozens of teenagers gathered to watch a fight near the Atlantic Terminal mall and Barclays Center on Flatbush Avenue.

The fight between the teens from different area high schools then escalated.

Three people were arrested and charges are pending.

The brawl was caught on cell phone video and police are looking at the video to identify more suspects.

The 16-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
