LOS ANGELES — A Costco customer was arrested after police say he punched a 78-year-old man in the face Sunday morning after getting into a dispute over Nutella at the warehouse store.

The Los Angeles Times reported that 24-year-old Derrick Gharabighi grabbed several samples and the elderly shopper told him to take just one.

Gharabighi then reportedly punched the man in the face. Police say the man was hospitalized with a one-inch cut and swelling above his eye.

Gharabighi was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse.
