MANHATTAN – They’re putting the final touches on Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.

The pope’s people stopping by to get a look at where the pontiff will hold an evening prayer service on Thursday.

Vending machines inside the cathedral are selling souvenir coins, including one with a picture of Pope Francis.

A security guard tells PIX11, they sold out fast and there was a long line outside the door.

At Ribalta, near Union Square they’re serving up a pope pizza.

Mozzarella and ricotta cheese along with yellow tomatoes form the colors of the Vatican flag.

It’s not a secret Pope Francis loves pizza and this is a pie after his own heart, all of the ingredients are imported from Naples.

Inside the Saint Patrick's Cathedral gift store, there’s a mini Pope Francis statue, rosary beads and a huge commemorative poster.
