The “Whip It” singer and his wife decided to model their wedding cake after the Twin Towers with their faces on top, give out personalized box cutters to party guests, and decorate table seating cards with an image of “Gerald & Krista” engraved box cutters, TMZ reports.

Apparently, guests were not offended by the couple's choices. One guest told TMZ Casale has a “real heart as an artist, and is a super sweet guy.”

Casale later apologized for the incident on Twitter, saying it was all a "set up."

In the past, Casale also led a group called "Jihad Jerry & the Evildoers" and released an album called "Mine Is Not A Holy War."
