OZONE PARK, Queens–– A woman is dead and a man is hurt following multiple collisions offset by an initial motorcycle crash on the Belt Parkway Monday night, police said.

According to the NYPD, it happened on the westbound Belt Parkway at Exit 17 around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Upon arrival, police saw the driver of the 2007 Yamaha motorcycle, a 28-year-old with minor injuries, and the passenger, 22-year-old Sade Eversley, unconscious and unresponsive.

Eversley was pronounced dead soon after EMS arrived at the scene, police said.

Cops said preliminary investigation reveals the motorcycle was traveling westbound on the Belt Parkway and lost control in a curve and struck the center median, causing the operator and Eversley to become separated from the vehicle, laying in the left lane.

A second vehicle, described as a white older minivan model, attempted to swerve to the right but struck Eversley while she was on the ground, cops said. Then a third vehicle, a 2014 Honda Minivan attempted to stop but couldn’t and ran over her, according to police. The driver of the third vehicle remained at the scene.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.
