MANHATTAN — Delays are creeping toward one hour for drivers headed into Manhattan via the Lincoln Tunnel Tuesday morning.

A crash in the south inbound tube shut down that lane, creating delays up to 45 minutes as of 6:30 a.m.

All approaches are feeling the impact and drivers are being diverted through the center tube.

Commuters are urged to take the George Washington Bridge or Holland Tunnel as alternatives.
