Coney Island beaches filled for Labor Day Weekend

CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn — Hundreds of thousands of visitors are out at Coney Island this weekend.

How can you blame them? There's the surf, sand and water worshipers.

Then of course there's the famous Coney Island boardwalk and games.

Shop owners and boardwalk workers had a spectacular summer revenue wise. The new restaurant Wahlburgers opened just in time for the holiday weekend.

Those looking for a bite to eat or some fun in the fall, the boardwalk games and rides will stay open until Nov. 1st.

The beach will stay open an extra week until September 13th.
