OZONE PARK, Queens — A Queens man has been charged with sexually assaulting a young girl inside of a local mosque.

Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown said that Md Uddin, 63, allegedly lured the 10-year-old girl into the basement of the Fultoli Jame Masjid Mosque just before 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Brown said Uddin allegedly fondled the girl over her shirt while asking "does this feel good? Do you like this?"

After the incident, Uddin allegedly told her not to tell anyone about what happened.

The victim told a family member about the incident, who then called police.

"These are serious accusations in which an alleged sexual predator stalked his victim in a place of worship, and, if true, cannot go unpunished," Brown said in a statement.
