Greyhound bus heading to New York crashes in North Carolina

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Greyhound bus crashed on the side of I-85 in North Carolina on Tuesday Night while on the road to New York.

The bus left Atlanta for New York before it hit something on the road, according to WGHP. A tire blew out and the bus went off the road and crashed into trees.

Forty-nine people were on the bus and two dozen passengers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, officials said. There were no major injuries reported.

Three cars also sustained damages from the debris caused by the blown tire.
