MANHATTAN -- Daily commuters should plan for extra travel time during the weekday due to track work on the Queens Boulevard line for the next three weeks.

Starting Monday through Sept. 4, maintenance work will be done on the E, F, M and R lines from Monday through Friday, according to the MTA. Expect less frequent services and delays on these lines during rush hour.

The E line will have no trains to and from Jamaica through 179 Street. Commuters are advised to take the F instead and transfer at Union turnpike.

Some E trains will have local service running from Queens Plaza to Jamaica-Van Wyck during 8 to 10 a.m. and 3:30 to 10 p.m. Some F trains will also have a few local services from 21 street Queensbridge to 71 avenue.
