Queens woman safely located after alleged kidnapping by ex-boyfriend

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens — A Queens woman was safely located after she was allegedly kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend Saturday morning, police say.

Michelle Jimenez, 18, was dropped off on the corner of 82nd Street and Astoria Boulevard just before 10 p.m.

Early this morning witnesses say Jimenez was approached by her ex-boyfriend, Jonathan Coronel, 21, in front of 32-65 81st Street in Jackson Heights.

According to witnesses, Coronel forced Jimenez into a light-colored vehicle at knife point.

The two drove away with Jimenez in the back seat of the car.

Jimenez was dropped off 12 hours later by Coronel.

No charges have been filed at this time.
