BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — Surveillance video released Friday shows a masked man open fire in the doorway of a Brooklyn apartment lobby, killing a 21-year-old man and injuring two others.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a shooter.

It happened shortly after 8 p.m. Aug. 13 at 807 Saratoga Ave., police said. Officers were alerted to the gunfire by the department’s ShotSpotter tool, which lets police know about possible gunshots even if no one calls 911.

When they arrived, officers found three young men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Isaiah Cicero, 21, of Brooklyn, was shot in the torso and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, NYPD said. Two other men -- ages 18 and 20 -- were each shot in the arm and taken to a hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made but the deadly shooting was caught on the camera. Police said it appears the culprit chased the trio into the building then opened fire.

Anyone with information in the case or who recognizes the gunman is urged to call NYPD's anonymous Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
