East River ferry makes hard landing, several injured

MIDTOWN EAST, Manhattan — East River Ferry was docking at Pier 11, and made a hard landing around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

There were about 40 people on board. The FDNY says they are treating 7 injuries, including one man with a knee injury.

Victims with two minor injuries were taken to NY Downtown Hospital. Five others reported injuries, but refused medical attention.
