Brooklyn man shot in head, killed near Brownsville home

BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in Brooklyn Saturday night near his home, police said.

While officers were conducting a car stop in Brownsville near on East New York Avenue and Junius Street, a woman alerted them of two men arguing, one armed with a handgun around 8:48 p.m. Officers found the victim, Christopher Tennison, with a gunshot wound to the head on Atlantic Avenue and Sackman Street. EMS pronounced him dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
