NEW YORK – Don’t ever try to make fun of Michael Jordan’s shoes, especially not while attending his Flight School basketball camp.

It seems simple enough, considering his international sneaker empire and all, but one young camper apparently needed a reminder after trying to drop a “What are those?!” line on His Airness.

The diss originated from an Instagram clip in which a man makes fun of a police officer’s work boots while asking “What are thoooooose?!”

Perhaps thinking he was being sneaky by using a meme that the 52-year-old likely wasn’t aware of, the camper dropped it on MJ, sending the room into explosive laughter.

Jordan’s response was great, however, again proving how perilous it is to go 1-on-1 with the six-time NBA champion.

“Hey, look man, I’m lost on that Vine stuff.  What are those? These are the XX9 Lows,” referring to the unreleased Air Jordans his would-be heckler can only dream of sporting.

The crowd burst out in laughter once again — this time at the naive camper who had the audacity to make fun of Michael Jordan’s footwear.
