STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter made an emergency landing on the Richmond Country Club Golf Course on Staten Island Sunday morning, according to NYC Office of Emergency Management.

The landing was made around 10:30 a.m.  The chopper was doing a flyover of a Bayonne oil spill when the cockpit filled with smoke.

Four people on were board the chopper that was out of USCG station in Atlantic City. No one was injured, according to FDNY.
