WEST HILLS, N.Y. — A car left in gear  shot forward into a Long Island garage, damaging two cars and injuring one worker.

A witness tells PIX11  that the snafu at the Gulf Service Station at 532 Walt Whitman Rd. in West Hills, Long Island occurred at 11:11 a.m. Thursday.

An attendant was trying to raise the windows of a Nissan as it started to rain. Unfortunately, the car was in gear so when it started, the vehicle shot forward into the garage, colliding into a Ford on a lift, which then fell on the Nissan.

This attendant suffered minor injuries.
