NEW YORK – The misery continues for New Jersey Transit riders after an Amtrak train became disabled in one of the Hudson River tunnels Tuesday.

Trains are currently using only one set of tracks, causing delays of 30 minutes into and out of New York Penn Station, according to NJT officials.

Rail passes will be cross-honored by NJT and private carrier buses; the PATH at 33rd, Hoboken and Newark Penn Station; and NY Waterway at South Ferry and Hoboken.

Last week, New Jersey Transit apologized profusely to its customers after it failed four out of five days to provide normal service.
