ATLANTA — Celebrities are taking to social media to send their condolences to the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown, who passed away Sunday evening.

“She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months,” a representative for the Brown family said Sunday. Brown was the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

A statement was posted to the official Facebook page for Whitney Houston Sunday evening about Bobbi’s death.

“It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: “The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face,'” the post read.

Throughout the evening Sunday, celebrities mourned Bobbi Kristina.
